Announcements: 9:15 AM
Trial Ends: 9:30 AM
Official Start Time: 9:45 AM
Conditions of Play:
Trial ends, 2 bowls per player. First game only.
No burnt ends. The out-of-bounds jack will be placed at the 2-meter mark.
Only skips may visit the head and only once per end.
Skips, please check your scorecards often to ensure their agreement.
Skips are expected to maintain an efficient pace of the game. Once all games in a round are complete, except one, that final game will complete their current end and end the game.
Winning skips must turn in both signed scorecards immediately after each game is completed.
Game Points - Win = 3 pts, Loss = 0 pts, Tie = 1 point per. Max = +10 per game
The club with the most game points will be the winner of the tournament. If there is a tie in the game points at the end of the day, the net total plus score points will determine the winning club. If points are also tied, the final tie break would be the highest ratio of points for / points against.
The umpires will be announced on the day of the tournament. But before calling on one of them, the skips should attempt to resolve the issue.
The team captains for each club, in consultation with the umpires, will be the ultimate authority to resolve any disputes during the course of the tournament. Disputes claimed after the end of the tournament will not be considered.
Unless noted otherwise, in addition to the above conditions of play Bowls USA’s Laws of the Sport of Bowls and RLBC Rules and Regulations are in effect.
Dress Code: Teams are encouraged to wear similar club shirts of any vintage, with collars and similar color bottoms. All players must wear flat-soled shoes.\

Way to Go Cece!
Greetings from San Jose Lawn Bowls Club.
We want to thank this combined team - the Mayor’s Office, our Council member’s staff, and PRNS - for an amazing celebration at Bramhall Park today.
We’d like to thank each of you personally for making this possible and for delivering it so smoothly. Lynn and Aden, thanks for coordinating things to keep us on track. David and team from PRNS, the place was beautiful because of you, and it showed; thanks especially for that.
It was good to see you there, Stephan. I’m looking forward to crafting an agreement that works for everyone.
Finally, please send our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Mahan and Councilmember Mulcahy. They were wonderful and perfect for the moment. Then comes the Commendation - it’s like gold to us. We couldn’t be this well-positioned for growth and innovation without support from the City of San Jose and District 6. That collaboration has been in place for 60 years.
