SJLBC NEEDS YOUR HELP
Hello fellow lawn bowlers, SJLBC is currently recruiting for new 2026 board members. If you are interested in learning more about the club community and helping to shape its future please us know. You do not need prior board experience or deep knowledge of the sport - just a desire to help build the club and work side by side with some fun and interesting people.
> If you are interested please contact any of the current board members listed below and we will be glad to tell you more about board duties and discuss how you can become involved. We hope you will consider this opportunity.

Hello folks, please meet Hyldi Vieira. I met Hyldi very recently and could see a fit right away. So I’d like to say that after several conversations I’ve asked Hyldi to take on one of the 3 at-large slots on the Board. She has graciously accepted.
She’s also going to take on our newsletter activities including syncing with Andy and the website and with Marge. She’ll also handle and gather material for the PIMD newsletter. More will come but we’re starting there.
The cool thing about it all is creating the position of Communications Director for the Club. We’ll have a communications committee at some point but the role will continue regardless.
Please reach out and say hi to Hyldi in her new capacity. See some of you on Saturday. Joan Robbins is definitely coming (US National Team) and Charlie Herbert (US Men’s Team) is a maybe.
Welcome aboard Hyldi, Ian.
